Cell Group 2013 - Fasting & Praying (week 1: 22 to 28 Jan 2013).

The Bible told us in Psalm 91: 15 & 16 that, “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation”.


Brethren, this year 2013 is a very crucial one to us as individuals, church, families and as a Nation. The time we spend with the Lord in prayer can release the most dynamic, historical-changing power that this world has ever known. We need to trust God for His divine intervention, the manifestation of His power and the outpouring of His glory. In view of this, I would like to encourage us to be part of this spiritual exercise, Luke 18:1 …”for men ought always to pray, and not to faint”. As you choose to dedicate yourself to waiting upon Him, He will surely show you those great and mighty things that you never and will ever have known in Jesus name.


Please open your Bible to read (even though I have written them below for you) & mark them for future meditation. I’m available to further explain or make these scriptures/prayers clearer to you by just dropping me an email or call me:

1. Ps. 90:12-14, “So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!”
2. Rev. 7:3; “saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.””
3. Ezek. 9:4-5, “and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.”

Spend the whole week meditating these Bible verses and pray. Below are suggested prayer guide. Please ask these questions while praying: Have I fully trusted Jesus on God promises? How do I make it works for me, my family and my church in a practical manner? Who can I seek help/support/counsel when facing daunting challenges to trust God? Invite the Holy Spirit to be your prayer partner.

• Ask the Lord to satisfy you early this year in His mercies and loving kindness in every area of your life; Martially, spiritually, in your business, office, health and financially. Let there be breakthrough in all these areas.
• Pray that the Lord will mark you out for exceptional favour and lifting early this year.
• Pray that His mark of ownership will be upon our family, church, nation, and every endeavour. And that as destruction and calamities come upon others He will spare His own.
• Pray for spiritual uplift of the members of our church this year.
• Pray for your family and yourself.
• Pray for the formation of our Touch Life Cell.
• Pray with all kind of prayers (& in tongue too).
