Waiting for God’s Time

  1. Learn to Let’s Go Now – Letting go our dependency of self intellect, ego…
    • Even when God calls, doesn't mean it is immediately. We need to act in God's perfect timing (Kairos).
  2. Learn to Wait – God acts in His own time. Learn to overcome our interpretation of world events, whatever our own sense of urgency. When you are “itching” to get into action, it is the hardest thing in the world to wait (Num 22:8).
  3. God Controls the Time – God controls the times & seasons. Don’t get ahead & don’t lag behind. He will reveal His time to you. (Act 1:7)
  4. Question: How do we know it is God timing for us to act?
    • Agreement in spirit
    • Opportunities and doors are open. Key people or provision are available.
    • God burden's our hearts to act

Waiting in Prayer & Fasting

  1. The world will oppose you
    1. When you try to go deeper in God, your fleshly nature will resist you.
    2. When you try to go up higher in God, the demonic principalities & power of the air will fight you.

    • forces us to depend on God
    • helps us to draw nearer to God
    • keeps us humble
    • help us become stronger and in tern help others
    • helps us build character

After discussion: Suggested Devotional Steps

  1. confess your sins (1 john 1:9,10)
  2. praise god (ps 100)
  3. surrender the day to god
  4. pray for family, church, and believers that you know (or whatever comes to your mind)
  5. pray for leaders, missionaries, evangelism
  6. pray in other tongue (1 cor 14:13,14)
  7. write down that the lord gives you & do it.

learn to build that relationship with GOd. the more time you spend with someone, the deeper your relationship will be.
